Guest pigdog Posted July 11, 2007 Report Share Posted July 11, 2007 I was just wondering has [NO TEXT TALK] got the same problem? i have a lurcher bitch i reared her from a 9 week old pup. she was 100% sound with sheep until i started running her on deer. now every time she goes out all she is intrested in is fu**ing sheep has [NO TEXT TALK] go the same problem? and how can it be stoped other the a bullet? hunting 4life 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Share Posted October 1, 2007 I was just wondering has [NO TEXT TALK] got the same problem? i have a lurcher bitch i reared her from a 9 week old pup. she was 100% sound with sheep until i started running her on deer. now every time she goes out all she is intrested in is fu**ing sheep has [NO TEXT TALK] go the same problem? and how can it be stoped other the a bullet? hello mate i had the same problem with a dog of mine a few year ago when i first had him out i could be 100% sure he wouldnt touuch any livestock i could run him in among sheep on the lamp and as soon as he caught or missed he be straight back i put him on a couple of deer before he caught on what they where then after that he would tackle anything i sold him to a lad i know and he tryed elictric color among other things but nothing worked but i have another dog whitch done prety much the same thing on till i tryed him with a billy goat its funny to watch as well get your dog on a lead walk him right up to the goat face to face the goat will rear and come down with an all mighty thud hitting your dog between the eyes do that about 3 to 4 times a day and they will soon get scared of it keep this up ror a few weeks and then brng him to a feild with sheep on an extended lead and see the deferents mate and dont be worried about putting your dog of his work mine still going well let me know how it goes ta Quote Link to post Share on other sites
