Not so much for a trophy myself but I've always fancied using the skins, it seems such a waste to throw them out, I reckon a nice davey Crockett hat would be just the job in this weather and a 2 finger gesture to the antis as well as a momento of a good bit of dog work. Got a mate that does the odd dear skin, he's currently doing a muntjack buck and always uses tradition brain tanning. I want to try tanning a nice winter fox skin but tbh I'd prob just end up sending a nice one to a proper tannery. Would love a decent tanned coyote skin as well. I'll give her a few more and see how she gets on.
