ROB.BOB 21
with my shotgun if i get time to 'think' about a shot like a driven pheasant appart from usually missing it i close my left eye. But with a reaction shot i dont know if i close an eye or not because you just do it don't you! but my question is if i have both eyes open looking at what im shooting i see two barrels, almost like if you look at something and cross your eyes a wee bit. Just me or does anyone else get this? Quote Link to post
halamrose 24
Thats fine your focus should be on the target not the barrels. If you focus on the bead you will see only one but not the target. If you are hitting stuff thats all you need. Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
practice shouldering the gun with your eyes closed, and open your eyes, you should be looking naturally down the rib of the gun, clay shooting is is more practical to have both eyes open and is normally the norm shooting shot guns, however if you shoot rifle and shotgun and find it more nautral to close an eye then there is nothing wrong with this, horses for courses... Snap. Quote Link to post
webber 2
Have a look at the Uni Dot sights here: http://www.norgascartridges.co Quote Link to post
Ratsmasher 36
Eye dominance can be really confusing thing to get your head around and I started thinking about it too much last year and it really affected my scores so tbh i'd say unless your having problems already try not to think about it because I wish I hadn't. As halamrose said if your hitting things dont change anything But yeah, I get that too and im pretty sure its supposed to happen Edited January 17, 2013 by Ratsmasher Quote Link to post
