toby63 1,236
just caught the end of a bit on the one show about (badger baiting) terrier work, Talk about anti propaganda, she went out of her way to mention that this time of year "with the long dark nights" people go out with lurcher "type" dogs with a lamp to kill fox`s,badgers, hares and deer. no fooking mention of legally taking rabbits. another attempt by the BBC to hoodwink the general public into phoning the police whenever anyone see a lamp. will it be on iplayer Quote Link to post
paulus 26
Public's no interested in legal dog work it doesn't make for good viewing doesnt make any difference if it was a racial piece it would have to be ballanced and unbiased or it would get pulled up by the regulators, i bet £1 this doesnt Quote Link to post

Maximus Ferret 2,063
\Isn't there some kind of independent complaint procedure against the media in the UK? I'm sure I've seen apologies printed somewhere but can't remember where. Quote Link to post
fieldsportsman 107
at the end of the day the bbc had people of the likes of savile etc. The other thing is, what I cant understand is that with the economy at sorry state of affairs, these sort of organisations are been funded. apparantly its cruel to hunt, but its ok to keep a hen in a tiny cage, atleast what we hunt has had a good life. The wirdo who got his bravery award of bill oddie and the r.s.p.c.a. Bravery?! he hid in the trees! if he was that "useful" as John craven once said he looked, why didn't he come out and help the badger that was rolling about with the lurchers? 4 Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
Here it is - https://ssl.bbc.co.uk/complaints/forms/?reset=#anchor Unfortunately, in matters of bias or inaccuracy you have to complain to the BBC itself. This programme seems to have contained both so get on and ask them to broadcast an apology for inciting public harassment of people legally lamping rabbits. Maybe they will and maybe they won't but they have to look at the complaints and make some kind of reply. Quote Link to post
