Thanks Dan..they are out and about in all different types of country each and every day whatever the weather,i'd say they get walked anywhere between 25 and 40 mile per week already as all my dogs do..when these see a Fen they'll laugh at it   ...running up and down the side of mountains must be harder than running on a big flat open field :whistling: ..rocks,boulders,scree,heather,bracken,fallen trees..none of them down on the Fens is there folks? :tongue2:

Funny you should say that Dan..i was speaking to TOMO the other night and we were talking about bad feet on dogs..i always have brought my dogs on the same for over 30 years and touch wood i've never had a dog with bad feet and they get ran into submission nigh on every time i take them hunting..so like you say,get them out and running and bobbing and weaving, clambering about etc...it's never done mine any harm and sounds like you neither?...got to be better then left sitting in a dog run/kennel? :hmm:

Dan/Fuji, couldn't agree with both of you more... As pups, play over various ground, challenging ground, is a must and constant too.

Nice pics too Fuji, you'll need to get the camera out again Friday, when that snow hits.

Batteries will be charged Bosun so like a boy scout i will "be prepared" ..these pups have seen most types of terrain already Bosun,i just keep on mixing it up  ..they have obviously seen the fells, fields, forest, dense woodland, thick gorse covered scrubland, the beach, rugged old pit bankings, marshland, water lol..for 15 weeks they have seen a wee bit :D ...they've nabbed a myxi bunny, seen a couple of beasties lying horizontal :whistling: ...if they don't make the grade it won't be for lack of effort on my part
