Agree with the above, it might not ever fully harden either if the frost gets to it and if it does it will remain soft. You can get a frost proofing admixture to help, but its better to leave it if you can..

Right mate, if your desperate, you can lay concrete if the outside temperature is at zero as long as.....

1. You are laying areasonable amount I.E. more than 1m3

2. You cover it immediately with hessian (spelling?) or a frost blanket.

3. The concrete is a strong mix C35+

Concrete is frost suseptible but if there is enough of it it will generate enough heat to kep it above freezing. Covering it with a frost blanket will keep the heat in.

If you have got rebar in the concrete that will help to stop cracking if placed correctly.

However I really wouldn't reccomend it. At best you will end up with a very flakey finish on the surface.

So All of the above posts are without doubt the best advice.

Nice cold w/e? Get out there with the dog!

Good

Luck

Swampy

Air entrained ning

put anti freeze in it you can get stuff out the builders merchant for it

Have you used it before? I have in render a few years back and the fecking muck was still freezing on the spot as soon as it was put there out the mixer! like I said before, I wouldn't risk it for the sake of a few days. The last thing he wants is a soft/porous/cracked base in a kennel IMO..
