alot of the time its food for the ferrets, or my young lad cause he loves to eat rabbit, but somtimes we give them to a few of the old boys up the pub and in return we get a drink put over for us.

i think ill just stick to keeping them as ferret food and one for the table now and again :) dont think the butchers round here would be interested

 

You will be surprised, I was. I cant keep up for the amount they are asking for. I offered a land owner 50p for each rabbit I got of his land over the weekend. But he still said no coz he is commited to an airgunner from a nearby town.

£1 to £1.50 gutted. Tend to eat ours, but for years I'd fed them to the dogs or sold them as my Mrs was a veggie :icon_eek: , then one day she asked me "why not eat them?", so she does as well as our seven year old daughter B) , who just loves the dishes her Mam comes up with :thumbs:

Frozen rabbits being sold here for £3.50 each, however they are farmed, wild rabbits in Cardiff market caught by lurcher used to go for £3.25 about 2 years ago.

Hope this is of interest.
