risingfriend 1,042 Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 if it is the quickfill version mate just unscrew it, if non qf then you will need to empty cylinder of air and the undo. may be easier to remove from the stock though just remove the two allen screws. risingfriend 1,042 Posted January 15, 2013 Report Share Posted January 15, 2013 Hi the barrel band is there for support of cylinder and barrel and the front stock stud secures to this so serves a purpose but you can get a custom one that only secures the air cylinder so the barrel is free floating. your choice really but i would leave well alone as the hw100 is a quality and deadly accurate gun standard.
