hi lads ive gt a mk1 locator its a 15ft box and use it with a 8ft collar [bANNED TEXT] the box gets between 6 and 7ft the box starts buzzing does anyone no what causing this and if its a expensive job to fix and also if anyone noes someone who fixes them still.also when the box is buzzing (arrow on the box pointing down to the floor) and then i turn the box on its side the buzzing stops but doesnt pick up the collar. chhers

Isnt the arrow suposed to be pointing up when you use it?

You might be able to re calibrate it yourself by playing around with two adjustable bits inside? Not the best explanation, there is a post on how to do it.

theres NEVER no good advice on fixing these mk1's iv been looking for months, and there does seem to be anyone that can explain it properly, is the 2 adgustable bits one on either end like screw type things (but not screws) if that makes sense lol (no) can someone PLEASE explain how to recalibrate. thanks alot, atb foxtail.

At a guess i would say its interference i get that on mine somtimes, i think you will find that on a mk1 ferret finder the arrow on the back of the box is suopse to be pointing up when u use it
