I doubt she'll show much consistency in behaviour right now if her hormones are off the scale. Out of curiosity how does she treat your hob at present? Personally, I'd try to handle her as normal, ignore the nips, seems like she's just full of cheek rather than nastiness. If they mean it, ferts will lock on to whatever they can get there teeth around, if they don't get a good grip they'll take whatever they've got and go for a better grip. Not a fan of scruffing myself for a punishment/corrective approach, find it tends to piss them off, she isn't a kit anymore!

 

I find hormonal females don't concentrate on their job, you can work her certainly but who knows how she will perform.....I imagine pretty well if the bunnies are wearing leather

She getting on good with the hob...no bickering between them and hes so bleedn g soft im surprised how good he is in a set....certainly bolts them. I'll leave her off working i think till i get her done and let her have her horomone explosions the bite she gave me earlier wasnt a nip if iwasnt so bloody quick and she didnt cop onto my knuckle i'd say it would have been a proper lock on to my finger.......and i know how bloody painful that is from past experience with a mates stinker.

 

Ah bless her.....her hormones may be rife and she just might be trying to treat you as a kit.....as weird as that sounds.... animals can develop certain behaviours when under the 'influence', so to speak. I really don't think your jill is being aggressive. When animals mean it they generally have you before you know what's happening, thankfully often it's just a strong warning/behavioural instinct. Ferts have the bite force of an average sized dog, have particular connective tissue structure in their 'jaw' that prevents their own jaw dislocation when they move in for a 'kill' bite, have the capacity to crush human finger bones....and they love nothing more than a target! Your jill needs her hormones under control and you need your fingers, if I were in your shoes I'd have no shame in wearing some gloves if needed 'til she settles down. Atb.
