Qd Studs On A Synthetic Stock

My lad has just bought a ruger 10/22 in synthetic and stainless and wants to put QD studs on it for his sling and bipod.

I understand you need a QD stud at the front that has a machine thread on it rather than a screw so you can put a nut on it, but where do you get these? Can't seem to see any on t'internet.

Also the how would you attach the one to the butt? Is the butt hollow on these guns?

Sorry to ask, but I'm not particularly mechanically minded.

Plenty for sale on ebay chap, for less than a tenner delivered. Had to replace mine when I lost them while re doing my ruger 77 stock.

Choice of fitment and length.
