Molie1337 35
My favorite place in pembs to go fishing is the rocks a short walk from stackpole quay, truely beautifull countryside, steep cliffs straight to weedless, sandy bottomed, deep deep water, caught litteraly hundreds of mackrel there, a few garr, 2 bass, loads of pollack and a mullet! wish i was there now instead of the arsehole of london!!!! Cheers Molie Quote Link to post

Aled manorbier, st.davids, tenby breakwater there are loads of spots in pemb. my personal fav is a spot in carfai bay in st davids chuck out some feathers off the rock 100's of fat mackerel. also on the rocks on the left side o carfai bay are amizinglyabundant with bass. i,ve fly fished for them off the. although come an hour brfore and after hight tide to avoid hooking divers! aaronpigeonplucker 32
sorry i ment the harbour wall. i've got a secret spot on that wall :secret: . everybody else goes right to the end and wacks out a load of feathers. the secret is to go at the base of the wall facing the old lifeboat ramp. gently cast out a sliding ledger rig with a small size 3/0 aberdeen bated with rag and you'll soon get a flatty. fish an hour before and after high tide . althiough i've always preferred rock fishing in st. davids for bass with fly. It's not really a secret spot, it's local knowledge. There's quite a few decent spots about here, if you know where to go! Quote Link to post
