im getting bored of pcps like, but i want nv and a springer...itll either be one or the other,, or half decent spriner, give it a tune, and the pulsar add on.

hi rob

not sure a NV on a springer is a good idea ?

unless it has minimal recoil,or the you can get the NITS SITE N50. they have a recoil reducer on them now.

the HW95 is a good choice over a Hatsan

i am not knocking them i just think if you are going to put a NV on a springer it needs to be one with low recoil, and made to a high standard.

like HW,AA to name a few.

The good old 55 and 60 still have a good nudge on firing! Would not recommend an NV unit on it, lamping is ok! I have a 60 gas ram (the exotic one that is converted in darkest Bedfordshire). I like the Hatsan starter rifles, they are sold for twice as much with the Webley Stingray name on!

I will agree the quality is not up to AA or HW levels (but of late HW have gained a shocking reputation for using badly cut springs, being under lubed and having nasty problems like being overpowered or scoring the cylinder), but there again the prices are not up there either and even after a tune you have still got £100 left over to spend! I have never had a problem with an over or under powered Hatsan 60, all the ones I have had have done 11.3 foot pound out of the box and remained resolutely at that level, even the gas ram! The barrels are Walther, the stock is Walnut, the spring is a Power Lok, identical to the Webley one!

They are a good cheap rifle, the HW is a better medium priced with lower recoil!
