Pound notes still talk the talk

Recommended Posts

In these days of interest free this, finance that, it's great to see good old fashioned money is still the best.

My disco has seen it's last days, so I went out to look an old Jeep yesterday to replace it. It has a full service history, new MOT, runs well and is perfect for what I need. It needed a few bits done to it, but the dealer was not interested in budging on the price one bit or rectifying any of the faults.

One flash of actual pound notes and he had agreed to replace the windscreen, the struts that hold the tailgate up, the battery, tax it for 6 months and knock £100 off the asking price.

Cash - your flexible friend.

I dont owe owt to anyone... well i owe 75 to the vet but will pay him when i next see him... Pay cash for everything, have an o2 money card for online purchases (its like a prepay credit card)

Its nice not being in dept, i let my other half control the finances once and we ended up in dept and behind on rent

Cash is king especially in current climate, if i badly want something i save up for it.
