ollywilli 49
The majority of people breed for workability but do may people test their studs and/or bitches for genetic faults like Luxation lens disorder or others which cannot be physically seen for a number of years? Quote Link to post
ollywilli 49
I will be. It nothing I ever though of until recently. Do you? Quote Link to post
jawn 449
I haven't. Probably should but I haven't ever seen a dog go blind from it so for better or worse it's easy to shrug off. Quote Link to post
dee mac 579
surely by time the dog has done enough work to warrant breeding it will have at least reached the age 4 or 5 so most faults would have reared there head by then alerting the owner to its presence ! ollywilli 49
Or I could say would you buy a dog/pup who had not been tested for a genetic fault despite of workability? Just playing devils advocate ( if that's how I spell it ha ha ) Quote Link to post
