The law don't say it has to be on a shoot,all it says is "to protect game birds",neither does it say how big or the type the bit of land has to be.It also doesn't state the birds have to be reared,so any bit of land big or small can have terrier work legaly done on it to protect the wild game birds that may live there.Woodcock are classed as game birds yet many are not here all year round but you can work terriers with in the law to protect them for when they are here.The only real difference in the law to that of old is dispatch and the reason why your digging,read the law and look it ain't all that bad. :thumbs:.
