AirgunGuy 362
I gave my MK3m and right good going over today and it was invaluable. I could track the jill on very rough stoney ground when otherwise it wouldv'e been a nightmare. A must if you're ferreting mate Quote Link to post

tomas 9
Mine is about a footish out I think I'm just trying to get used to it Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
Mine is about a footish out I think I'm just trying to get used to it Mine is the same. In the house its about 2 feet out as they can pick up interference from different things. Out in the field its less than a foot out so im ok with that. As long as i can pinpoint the ferret...which i can ;+) Quote Link to post
tomas 9
I'm still geting used to mine Quote Link to post
Stretch177 39
If there out its sometimes to do with flat batteries, have you tried switching them? I know it sounds daft, but are you looking at the right set of numbers on the gauge, as the top ones are for when its in search mode and the bottom for when its in locate? Vermin control 234 0
I have a mk3 and its about a foot out but tbh I don't have a look at how deep it is I just used the sound to pin point the ferret and that seems to work for me Quote Link to post

Stevie E 66
Ive had and used the mk3 since they came out ,found it easy to use from the first time and still cant fault it for pinpointing a ferret if anything its a bit noisy nothing a bit of insulating tape cant fix although ive seen the magnetic mk 3 a few times and found they can pick up interference from fences now and then .
