Swampy 147
Anyway, your all talking bollox. Giving it the " I've been shooting so long I'm tired of it" sheite. All of you will be out with your mutts one day and they'll flush a snipe that will come zig zagging out and you'll all put your imaginary gun up to it and say "bang gotcha"! If you shoot, you shoot and you'll always shoot and that's that. Stop pretending otherwise! Unless you really are that bad that you've never hit ought and it was costing you a mortgage in cartridges every outing. Walk a few lonely moors with your dog and you'll wish you'd taken your gun....Guarenteed! Nothing (apart from sex) is better than pulling a high bird down and your dog bringing it to hand, going home and eating it. Free food is always the tastiest! rgds Swampy Honest ning

koda 83
i always said the pheasant shooting would be the first to go if i was getting pushed for putting time in with dogs
paulus 26
i always said the pheasant shooting would be the first to go if i was getting pushed for putting time in with dogs why not combine the two, mine will both flush and retieve shot furr and feather, my problem is working 2 dogs, shooting and taking pictures all at the same time with the added problem of trying to remain upright in all the mud and shite that were once fields

gnipper 6,535
I got shut of my shotguns a few years back now, its mider you don't need especially if you ever get found over that boundary fence looking for you dog or something and I would never lower myself to be like all the muppets that suck up to the keeper in the hope of getting a bit of shooting. When I was shooting quite a bit the ferrets and the dogs didn't get as many outings as they should either. The airgun still gets its fair share when the grounds frozen though

fitchet 788
Id rather see a rabbit (or whatever) get run and hoovered up then see it bowled over by a gun. I shoot regularly but cant beat bieng out with the dogs. I do like seeing a good lurcher work to the gun especially when roost shooting. Atb
