Was out for a ponder with the dog to waste some time when needed and found 3 dead ferts....

 

They were piled in a heap. By their teeth they looked young enough and their body condition seemed pretty ok too.

 

All had neck/throat trauma, but no obvious fractures.

 

Ferts found on farmland with tracks for public access.

 

I might be jumping to conclusions here, but there are some sick folk in the world.

i found one a week ago under similar circumstances, right one a public foot path it looked a really nice little thing a small sandy jill, found a ferret the week before that wandering around not too far from were i found the dead one, had afew caught in my live traps this year, theres been aload of people who have just been letting them out into the wild round by me, it really pisses me off, some people make me sick

You get all the kids going out with no finders I've found nets still on holes even snares on holes irrasponsable parents letting them go with no tools ,fert down for more than 10 mins fxxk it leave it . It's wrong all wrong

As you've both said there are the daft folk that dump their ferts as well. It's funny how some people believe they'll be alright fending for themselves, some people still even think ferts are actually wild animals

When i hear of strays round here makes me worry cos some people are evil ive been there when they were about to stand on its head, swinging it about by its tail as it had got one of them good, blood was everywhere. i laughed and snatched the ferret.

I would have been swinging the wanker around if he did that in my company. . .cruelty to little furries is not big and definately not clever.

If they cannot handle a frisky fert they should'nt have one..end of.

they havent a clue most kids seen some the other week taking the soil of a mole hill,i asked what they were doing they said going to ferret it

I know for a fact there is only a minority of kids who are nasty to animals how do you know it wasn't a bloke who's a evil b*****d and had just had enough of them. Don't get why people blame kids all time.

I can't find it anywhere that anyone suggested kids were responsible for the dead ferrets found.....

Again, I can't see where kids were blamed for the dead ferrets. One thing is for sure though, certainly seems like the work of some sicko.
