A1WOC 212
I have bought a 700TVL 1/3" Sony HAD CCD Sensor Colour Board Camera from China to upgrade my DIY night vision. I have been unable to fit it because the wiring terminals are not the same as my current board camera. I have emailed the supplier a couple of times but had no reply. Is there a kind and knowledgeable person here that may be able to explain what the two rectangular terminals and markings are for? My guess as follows- Bottom 3 pin block Out = monitor (yellow) GD = negative (black) 12v = live (red) Top three pin block B/W = ? GD = negative (black) NC = ? I think the other round terminals are for remote control which I don’t need. Supplied with the board camera is a separate power lead and video lead going into a single insulation sleeve with five cables out, two red two black and one yellow, all cables have crimped ends and designed to fit into two separate plugs that fit the terminals on the PCB. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Steve. Quote Link to post

The clarity of the image the new board camera produces is far better than the original one I fitted. The only problem I now have to sort out a niggling fault; the monitor goes dead for a few seconds when the rifle is fired. I refitted the old board camera during elimination tests but the monitor still went dead, I guess I have a dry joint somewhere. When I have the time I will strip it down and re-solder all the joints.
