Anyone use a collarum,what bait is best??

I have just got hold of a collarum,and I must admit it looks good first impressions,I am trying to find out what is the best bait to bait them with,or if anyone has any good or bad points to pass on around them,I am thinking of wireing a rabbit leg to the bait trigger first time out,but wondering if there's anything better,I sort of plan to change the bait species to match the problem, so to speak ie bits of lamb,or chicken in the relevant areas,any info would be good and welcome,

I have tied a small peice of rabbit fur to the trigger of mine and the put a bit of pate in the tube seem to work ok

I use these alot and I have found a rear leg off a rabbit cable tied to the plastic "T" shaped connector is best and I have also been freezing the rabbits bladders when gutting and placing them under the collarum to thore out! Seems to have helped!

Thats not a bad idea with the bladders, its good to make something useful from what we normally throw away,will try that for sure thanks

they expencive traps.... why not just use standard fox snares.?

I do normally I have had one bought for me,thought I would pick people's brains on baits to use I. Was going to try and set a bait triggered spring snare, but can't get a definate answer on legality of them, anyway I now have this to try, so with any look
