Heat lamp ?

I got my new pen/run near finished for my terriers, does anyone here use a heat lamp for the cold winter nights if so what do you use? (what kind). out door use.

i trying to get it finished now in the summer.

We use one with a red bulb in when its cold......the type for pigs and chicks, its for indoor use though.

use the one for chicks too,dont use it everyday in winter only when the dogs have a hard days working.

invaluable bit of kit,a dog thats had a real rough day can benefit from an evening under it for sure,positioning of it's important though,don't want it baking the dog,

 

sorry if that sounds obvious but you'd be surprised how often i've seen it misused.

i should of bought it a few yrs ago, what i mean by out door use 'it will be in a shed out side'

lol don't worry i'l not be baking the dogs. i getting it in place as a backup for the really cold nights

 

seen a site on here the other day that sells them they sell frontline & Drontal plus too. depends what the delivery charge is to Ireland i can get the lot together

NCF, sell them EOD, at a good price too, their should be a local one near you, its a farm supply shop.
