SportingShooter 0
If the gun is malfunctioning with the heavier end of game cartridges then it's not fit for purpose. How many rounds have you fired from it? I fired mine from new and never missed a beat but they are quite inconsistent, the Hatsans. Quote Link to post
Furittus 35
I know two other lads that had the same problem with their Escort semi's, it seems like a popular complaint, if you can buy Beretta, they are cheap in the long run. Quote Link to post
brno17 5
make sure you use minimum 70mm cartridges mate, If you still have problems then get it back to them. Mine will cycle any load as long as the case is 70mm or longer. Quote Link to post
paulus 26
hatsan the marmite of the semi auto  Quote Link to post
Wullz 408
Have you tried stripping it, cleaning it and replacing the O ring? That may well make all the difference. Like the marmite reference.....I love mine, but my mate hates his!! I have both, berretta for pigeons etc and I use the Hatstand down on the shore and in the mud.....@ £180 vitually brand new, I dont care what happens to it! Twice this year I have had 2 geese dead in the air at the same time with it.....you pull the trigger and it goes bang, then something falls out the sky......who cares what it looks like!!? charlie caller 3,654
Totally unacceptable, take it back, and get Andy to give you what you paid for it against a used decent quality auto,Benneli being the best, followed by Berreta,Franchi,Winchester ect,or if you cant afford one get a refund and save up,when will people stop buying these, cheap and nasty 3rd rate Turkish Hatstands, they are a pile of CRAP, honestly mate buy something decent,I can see the attraction becouse they are cheap for a new gun,but they dont work, bin it 1 Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Someone said it above, LENGTH of cart is an issue with Hatstands as well as load. Get a longer cart and it may work, or get another make of gun altogether, Edgar Bros have a massive pile of Hatsan returns, but the newer models aren't quite so bad! Quote Link to post
The Seeker 3,048
The amount of times you see hatstands posts on here that are faulty I'm surprised people still buy them. Too many are faulty you hardly ever see a problem with Benelli, Berretta, Winchester etc, I've said t before my mate had one took it back three times to get it repaired before he'd had enough and got his money back I know some come on here to say they have one that doesnt give a problem which is all well and good, my brother in law once owned an Austin Princess, it didn't break down like most but it was still sh*t ATB 1 Quote Link to post
