after seeing some photos on the forums i was wondering if anyone else knows any travelling folk, meening the one who travel pulling over in the country to catch some dinner etc, looks a very peaceful life but it must be hard to make money.

 

has anyone got any good stories and how they make there money etc

yeh they are called tinkers and they make money of the things they nick ie peoples dogs

I think he is on about the horse drawn wagons, not the bmw's pulling caravans, there is a big difference between the two lots of travlers, dont tar all travlers with the same brush.

Ive known a family for many years that live in a horse drawn wagon.

 

Their life was very hard and none of the kids carried the old ways on ,and are now in houses.

 

I saw one of her daughters the other day and she said her mum & dad are still living & travelling in their wagon, they are in their late seventies.

I bet you could count on one hand the number of travelers still living this way of life. Most of the scumbags now have a big impact on the environment with all the shit they fly tip, no respect for authority or the hard working people who live around them.
