welshrabbit 3 Posted January 8, 2013 Report Share Posted January 8, 2013 hello all, my name is Peter i live in north wales and im a agricultural engineer. just filled in my fire arms application alls well except one thing. iv got quite a bit of land to shoot on which all is approved but what happens if i want to add more land? do i have to fill in more forms or will a letter from the land owner be ok? oh and incase anybodys wondering iv applied for a 17hmr. iv been shooting with a very good friend for 2 years now he has 22 250 and cz 22 f, he owns two farms (well his dad does), and has wrote a letter to say im competent with a rifle. any advice would be greatly appreciated. dont want any nasty surprises. martin 332 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 Hi Peter,if they give you an unrestricted cert from the off(which is unlikely)then you don't need to do anything,but if they restrict it which is far more likely then you would need to ask your FEO to check the land to see if it is safe. Now as stupid as this may seem as some of the FEO's don't even shoot,so what they know about it I'm fecked if I know,but that is the state of play as we speak.
