rooboy 0
Got myself some netting and was wondering what is the best value for money on rope for the top and bottom line and size (Diameter) Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
If you go on Agouti net supplies, he sells the stuff on there by the spool. They`re all the same size regardless of diameter, but to be honest I found the small diameter stuff a tighter weave, so less prone to snag. Also, the bigger stuff frayed quick if you didnt blob the end sharpish. Its sold by weight so you would get more lenth on a 3mm spool than a 4 or 5 Quote Link to post
Sirius 1,391
For long nets the smaller gauge is far easier to tie to the grommets . Quote Link to post
terryd 8,383
Early days for me but I think I prefer the bigger stuff because it is easier too differentiate between the bottom line and netting when I am pegging the bottom line if that makes sense Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,738
Feck the grommets,..(hey, what am I saying )..but, I grew up with Young and Sons,..'Pyjama cord' ,..headers and footers,..and to be honest, I still love the feel of em,.. on a dark and windy night... Quote Link to post
