I wouldn't get any ferrets from a pet as they won't work get ferrets from a good working stock

better buying of someone with working stock but if i was stuck i would try a well handled young from a petshop

Some will work from pet shops, my old hod that I have had for 7 years and he was not a kit when i got him from a pet home works like a lion ..atb

Clipper a mate of mine as had his line for about forty years, he is 62 now and outcrosses every now and then. I can remember a local lad going up caithness to see tom riley and bringing a hob back witch my mate put in his line and that must near twenty years ago. There a decent ferret but they dont all make the grade like everything in life. Atb

Better going for a kit out of somebody that works them but even that's no guarantee its going to graft , but i think i would walk past a pet shop ferret might be well handled though and make a good pet ?.

you still got my old ferrets blood in yours then clipper, they must be good uns mate ..atb
