Gaz_1989 9,539
There's proberly a good reason there's not many around ! I think the reason there isn't many around is that if you've got a deer/grey bitch then you like a dog with a bit of height so aren't gonna want to put a 19" whippet over her. I'm sure they could make handy dogs. Quote Link to post

I'm sure they could make handy dogs. Not only that, there's also the fact that in the last 15-20 years alot of the younger guys have come along with the bull x, and in my opinion that's really when the whole mess regarding dogs being tried too young and ruined, sold, swapped or whatever started. I 'm sure that many of the older members of this site will know of and remember more than a few Deer/grey x whip/grey bred types. And yes, they are still alot more usefull than alot of the rubbish that's being bred these days. 1 Quote Link to post

staffpeg 217
dog belongs to a mate he is now around 8 month old and 26 maybe over tts Looks nice ....... how's he coming on as a deerhound is slow to mature & a whippet is quick to mature, if hes around the 26mark looks like hes taken to the deerhound. Ausnick 190
whippet X deer/grey is a popular cross over here. don't have any pics of any though as I don't copy other peoples pics. I had a whippet / deer grey X whippet staffy grey I think it was, had gone through a few owners and was really timid. had a couple of faults and one of those faults resulted in the accident to her death...
