Cleanspade 3,322
i dont want to be the one that says your dogs to big. but at 19 inch its a giant for a terrier mate. if it is strong built its far to big for a general earthdog. some folk find use of a big dog but they generally have a handy sized terrier to carry it. 19 inch is the size of a small lurcher. and nine times out of ten its going to run into trouble getting. i like a big dog but i use them on top a lot now. and i used to do a lot of farm dumps and stone drains etc. if you open your pic in paint there is an option to resize your pics in there Quote Link to post
Jachtterrier 50
i have a 19 inch terrier, only fits in 5 of the 10 tubes and sometimes it will take a bit longer for him to get there. i dont agree a terrier can get there if he wants to, lots of tubes are just to small. a bigger, stronger terrier is good to have around but you will need a smaller dog too for the small tubes. She's sound at ratting and bushing so at least I can so some sort of work with her too right. get her out amongst the other terriers. she might prove really handy and will learn a trick or two.
