Tyla 3,179
Cheers lads, is it viable to seine net for larger fish, mackeral, mullet, bass etc? Also, what is the situation with the law, there must be mesh size regulations or something? Quote Link to post

Hi Mate, the net we made is what it is, It done a job for us however we got flaties and weaver's plus once a lobster When you use a net you come under commercial fishing laws so you need to do a bit of reading for license's and what not, am sure other people can help you a little more with mash sizes, hope this helps, regards, Ian. Tiercel 6,986
As regarding the mesh size and limits to what you can or cannot do. Google your fishing area by-laws. Each area has different bye-laws regarding mesh size and what type of net you are able to use. TC Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
Looks like its all legal, a beach seine is operated by hand so no need to leave contact details. Just mesh sizes to look into now Quote Link to post
