troter58 1,711
feel for the dog do not think i could be parting with the dog it would be coming with me if not i would be a trip to the vet i then would know the dog was not being past around or ill treated but it is not my dog so you crack on fella and i hope you get the dog a good home .atb I considered it for a while but on the basis that I'm not the only capable dogman in the country I figure a shot at a decent life with someone else might just be better than knockin him on the head Must be nice to live in the land of "if's" fella, but some of us just do what we have to. no ifs or buts about it mate the dog would be going no where but thats just me as said hope the dog gets a good home atb the man obviously knows whats best for his dog. its easy to say this is what i would of done when you know nothing about the bloke or his lifestyle. i hope you find a good home it looks like a good dog with a bright future why do you know the bloke no i am saying what i would do not telling him to do it and as said i feel for the dog being passed on thats all and i would not pass a dog on sorry for replying to his post ffs Do you honestly think its better to have a good young healthy working dog put to sleep instead of rehomed to someone decent? Not a dig just wondering why you think this? why i think this because i would sooner know the dog was not being past about or ill treated as once you pass it on it is nothing to do with me and any thing can happen to it so better it is pts.atb What would you tell the vet that he has bitten someone,Or would your vet put a healthy dog to sleep. the rscpa put 100s of healthy dogs to sleep every month do they explane any thing to the vet no Edited January 7, 2013 by troter58 Quote Link to post

CorkyJohn 808
Fairplay mate, makes a change someone finding the time vetting the prospective new owner. The majority of peddlars on THL would've slapped a £200 price tag on the dog & sold to the first there with the coin. Edited January 10, 2013 by CorkyJohn 1 Quote Link to post
