WOW What a Zed, they have been saying for years that thr severn will yield the next monster....bloody big fish that. I should imagine that the dedicated Zed-men will be sick as its fallen to a young lad on the bloody pellet!!! Just a tiny bit of luck involved there eh? Wish i had have caught it....

Well that is the largest ever zander that has been reported

This record is an absolute stunner a huge zander, bet the severn will see some pressure now!!

Dont know why you would bother reporting it. Pure luck, it picked up a pellet any mug could do that.

 

If he was fishing for it would be a different story.

Looks like its got a belly full of something .Is it me or have fish changed their feeding habits drastically .Predators on pellets.Mate of mine had a carp on a dead minnow put out for eels .Opportunism I suppose .

years back a mate of mine had 2 4lb commons on sardine when dead baiting. They were probably in 30mins of each other and could have been the same fish
