A close up would have been a good idead bud. Bit hard to tell from those pix im afraid.

Two of my perms are only a road and a field away from a small housing estate that was built in the early to mid 90's. Before that it was a small farm and the farmer used to breed pet bunnies. Long hairs, Loppy lobes etc...

When he sold up to the developer and moved away you cold see many coloured bunnies in the fields surrounding the area, the Loppy Lobes never seemed to survive. But the basic ones bread pretty well. Especially the black ones, they made it over the main roads and I've shot them on three of my perms.

Another area that I've shot, again two fields away but closer the river Humber I've seen, white, fawn, fawn and white, fawn and grey, red (Ginger) and other variations. But they've all been thick tight fur's.

Hi mate. I have shot one like this on my permission and I know from my biology background that things like this although rare, are a normal occurrence. Wild rabbits have mutations in colour genes some are entirely black and some white and brown. All breeds of domesticated rabbit came from wild rabbits originally and came about by selective breeding. There's a chance albeit slim that you could end up with a wild domestic-looking rabbit of any sort.
