s horsfield 7
got the chance of a Webley raider(nearly new) and i've heard that the Turkish made one's aren't up to much. How can you tell if its been made in Turky or Britan, are they marked up Quote Link to post
AR177 588
I dont know if they marked them up, my dad has an old one and its a superb little shooter Ive seen two different looks (the old mans) one is a smooth stock with very little shaping and a metal bolt handle with a small knurl like a BSA s10 original handle (if you know what one of those looks like) and the other is more shapley and has a different bolt handle, more chunky and made of a black composite material If you get any issues take it to A&M custom gunsmiths, only down the road from Worksop and Adi will sort any problem. secretagentmole 1,701
The Turkish made one is a good gun, the one I had (well it was an AT44, same gun different lever) worked brilliantly out of the box, Was well machined, no problems with the magazines, the only problem I had was with the pump we bought as part of the package (second hand Webley job). It was accurate, quiet and had teh anti double load feature! Quote Link to post
