Ranger81 4
I'm in the same boat mate looking at similar guns. I gave Pete at the airgun center a buzz as I live too far out in the sticks to go and feel up a load of rifles and he is pretty helpfull it all depends on your needs. I want high accuracy and not too much length plus tactical stock because its rough going down here even getting to good shooting spots and I would scratch the hell outta something as nice as a hw100. Probably going to go for the scorpion SE but giving it another week or so before committing. Quote Link to post

TimS 49
They are all cracking rifles. Cant go wrong with any of those, but they are all very different in how they perform. The Scorpion is deadly accurate in .22. Used to have one and it was brilliant, except the shot count in the sweet spot was too low for me. I would get 40 shots max and then need to top up again. The power curve variation is too big, so I sold it. AA have a great reputation too. Similar issues on a 410 with power curve, but probably a bit better. never owned one, but my mate has one and his sweet spot is from 160bar down to about 120, so again, 40 shots or so. 410 is pin sharp accurate and very nice to handle. Huntsman? Brilliant. Much wider sweet spot with a lot less variation due to their patented valve system. Better made than either the BSA or the AA and in my opinion better to handle too. I dont have one though - I shoot a Mk4, but I do like the Huntsman. One of the HFT guys at my local club is selling his Huntsman with a MTC Viper attached. He loves his air rifles - I bought a Weirauch off him which was mint. If you like I can put you in touch? Tim Quote Link to post
