cammy12 176
i build metal sheds/barns workshops and the amount of folk that knock the anti condensation barrier off is crazy, its only an extra £1 or so a m2 and it reely makes the differance these folks are normally on the phone after the first drip or buy the composit sheet with the insulation already between two peices of tin this is the dogs nuts you can buy it from 40mm insulated to 120mm. if a proper job aint the answer go with labs idea you will save in the long run with labour atb cammy. ps do you keep animals in shed? i worked with all the the cladding materials for years and ran my own gang traveling the country and the composit is by far the best there is then you have double skin and for the roof we used to mainly do kal zip plus composit bt hated doing doing the double skin as the money was rubbish what are the prices like these days mate its a hard game to be in the now there that many cut throats, i do the whole shooting match from fabrication to polishing the floor and manage to keep a good squad of boys going but prices have been hammered down and mateirals have rocketed its hard just now, won a job for this year against a crowd wanting to do the double skin so it must work out a bit more expensive, never did it that way always used the composit sheet canny beat it in my eyes

Hello Cammy, No, well, not live ones! Wasn't thinking at the time when we built it, Glorious Summer days, making good headway.....needed sheet fast to get job finished. Along comes winter, and everything inside gets f**kin soaked anyway!! Got a few rolls of Glass wool lying around spare, but it's horrible stuff, especially above you! Might just suffer it for a morning, get it in there and stick up a sheet or 2 of ply to keep it there. Lab - Where did you get it from? Builders merchant / specialist Doods? Is it an aerosol deal, or do I need a gun for the compressor? Cheers. it shouldny be too bad then if nothing lives in your wool and some ply will be fine, good luck geting it sorted cammy

It comes in 2 pressured bottles and you get a kit with it for application. It's great stuff...:-)
