Got into it at 11,, my old man got me an air rifle and that was me,, and then when I first lived with my missus over 25 yrs ago, we were skint, I was an apprentice on fuckall money, and we had small mouths to feed. ,, so I poached like f**k to keep the freezer full,, just took it from there really. never stopped. Didn`t help that her brother is Whin,

Had ferrets for 25 yrs solid now, and get out every chance I can. My oldest boy runs Saluki X`s and both my grandkids hunt.

well was brought up with bull breeds( staffs, pits, bullmastiffs) was out one day met bloke walking his lurcher when out with my bullmastiff, that i though was greyhound. Got talking about lurchers, and about 6 months later got my 1st lurcher (25 years+ ago) It was nice to see a type of dog that looked healthy, nice temp ,and cheap to buy comp to ped dogs back then. And even if you never worked a lurcher they make great pets good with family, just nice dogs to have about you. And you dont get the health probs with lurchers you get with over bred ped dogs .I love seeing a lurcher running quarry be it big or small, had them long while now and hope to keep having them even just as pet if i had to

Seen him ! hahaha,, like a wolf, exactely. We`ve had a couple of GSD x`s out with us from way back, one wasn`t a great example though,, a heavy type that suited certain jobs,

Be interesting to see how Buck turns out mate,, sure Brin will keep the wee bugger right..

My Hancock dog is coming on brilliant Ray,, really chuffed with him so far,, not perfect,,,,yet ! lol but fekin good enough in my books hahaha.. the wee Beddy /Whippet x is really shaping up as well. I suspect that he will make some machine, if I get it right, hope so, cause he`s a wee cracker.

I lost a spaniel this year as well (4 cancer,,) and my other Spaniel has retired to the fireplace rug, so it`s all lurcher work for me just now bud,,
