I like working a dog 'off', sommat 'right' about it BUT it has many dangers and problems and the first sniff of doubt, they are on... Safe, rather than sorry.... Quote Link to post

Sometimes have one off at night to hunt up.In the day its always a good idea to have a dog close whilst others work away.Dogs hunting dont always see what they have flushed,and it can run right past you.
