mrspinguu 35 Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 my dad is still recovering from his bike accident, a 17 year old girl was driving too fast in her new car, flipped it on its side and skidded just as my dad came around the corner (he was riding at 48mph on a 60mph road), my dad ended up parked in the windscreen. The girl was killed and my dad was in a coma for a few weeks, he has brain damage and struggles to walk as his leg was smashed up through his hip and shattered his pelvis. And I suppose you've never done anything "that" bad on your crotch rocket? Nope ! Nothing that I never learned a lesson from anyway ! (ducking under an oncoming vans wing mirror for one) TBH, I`ve been riding for 20 yrs now,, and stupidity is a far different thing to skill. He swerved a liitle between a few, but other than that he just battered along in a straight line.
