Historically speaking ....... what did the Irish do to Liverpool when they came over en masse? The Poles might be a bit naughty, but they'd have to go a long way to repeat history! And to any Irish who may be reading, no I don't mean you, I mean those that came in the 1800's. . In the main the came then left for the new world , the rest went grafting the word as in the tool , digging canals and tunnels building rail ways etc industrial history paints a rather more kind view than the political one , the influx of migrant irish men and all others to liverpool, is well documented the mass exsidus to the new world was not only the irish welsh scotch europeans etc all travelld vear liverpool you only need to look at the amount of communitys that innhabet the city we have had immergrants for centuries all part of once being the biggest port in the world and the second city of the empire , the capital of the southern states of america at one point in their cival war , liverpool is the original melting pot still has big links with ireland allways will as does it with wales and scandinavian countrys the invasion of eastern european labour,prostitution,drug running people trafficing scum has not enlightend the uk as did the influx of the previous migrants unless you like cabbage and carp thieving twats bud !!!!!!! Liverpool, built by North Walians, ruined by Irish ........ Oh yes, the Irish have a had a huge and profound effect on Liverpool alright, they certainly showed the Liverpudlians what poverty, disease and overcrowding was like in the 1800's. Have a look through the crime section of the Echo, you might recognise a few surnames as being Irish! It is completely wrong to even suggest any other race has had a worse efffect on the City, the number of Poles is insignificant compared to the millions of Irish that passed through or stayed on in the City. Liverpool is an amazing city, built out of mixing races, it's what makes it the best city in the world bar none. So the Poles might rob a few cabbages, or a few fish (although I'm not sure they have carp in Sefton park?), that is fck all compared the compared to the crime and misery that comes of being the drugs capital of the world (the city's dirty secret) the drugs industry is controlled via Liverpool by guess who ...... So take your pick mate, a few missing fish or lost generations and a huge crime problem.
