Jamie93 57
Hi All I have just got a goldfinch mule and am currently feeding him on a finch mix from the pet shop. I'm going to start feeding him on canary mix and have been told to include oyster shell. What sort of ratio of shell should I put in against food? Also is this diet acceptable? Thanks

Thanks Iwould advise using a oyster shell mix with mineral grit in a separate small feeder place on the wires in the cage , as far as feeding is concerned a simple mix ed canary with a few pinches of screenings often sold as wild bird health seed hope this helps, atb bunnys

fireman 10,934
Charcoal not only extracts bad poisons as it were it also extracts goodness out of a birds system as well, personal choice to use it and i don't myself.
