Strong Stuff 2,171
Mine is officially cancelled now, I got a cheque from them for £24 this morning, the refund for my unused part of the year. I have removed the aerial lead between the TV and the wall socket, the only type of programs I can watch now are through my WDTV live box, BBC Iplayer etc, no live TV so therefore I don't need a licence.
Rake aboot 4,935
Did you just ask for a part refund SS ?? Did they give you much grief ?
PeakOil 352
I get the odd bit of junk mail off Crapita. I just ignore it same as I have done for years, same as the junk mail I get from Parking Eye and Town and City Parking. If any of em had even one leg, nay half of one leg to stand on they would send me court papers. Not junk mail.

Strong Stuff 2,171
Did you just ask for a part refund SS ?? Did they give you much grief ? No mate, I didn't ask for a refund, and I haven't so far confirmed that I don't watch TV. Now ............ what I will say is that I did not do this as a way of shirking paying what I owe, I have chosen not to watch live TV, therefore I do not need a licence. I bet there are plenty out there though that will still watch live Tv with no licence.
