For Sale hunting prints

Hello,

 

I have for sale eight various prints showing scenes of hunting with horses and hounds. They belonged to my grandfather but although i appriciate the prints they are not to my taste for decorating, and as i am saving for a house deposit i would like to put them up for sale.

 

The fronts of the prints are in great condition however the backs are worn from years of hanging. I dont know the precise age of the prints but as one of the pics show the backs are papered and tacked, i dont know if this will help to identify the age but possibly someone on here may know.

 

As i am not into art in any way, i dont feel that i can put a price up here until i have a better idea asw to there value, so if anyone could offer their opinion and knowledge i would greatly appriciate it. Once i have this value i will reduce it so that both seller and buyer are very happy with the deal, as i would like these to be hung as they should be and enjoyed.

.. my advice wrap em up put em away and stick em in your man shed when you get your house ..

thanks , at least i know how much...or little there worth now, i think ill take you up on your idea and keep hold of them for now then, or i might just stick them in an auction, 50 quid is still better then nothing, (im really clutching at straws for this house deposit) :/

by the time you`ve paid your commission and vat auction aint worth the hassle ... gotta be worth a tenna each to someone ...as a lot/group they`d look tidy on someones wall
