paulus 26
Why didn't machetes get banned after horret campbell attacked they nursery kids and how come no one ever mentions it? because it doesnt have the same impact on the public as the thought of the country being over run with assault rifles, the thing is all them rifles can be purchased in 22lr but only if you have a ticket and an open slot but thats not as dramatic as portraying them as freely available to the local holigans on the street. fitchet 788
I live about 10 minutes away from hungerford and i know a couple of people who lost loved ones. But although hungerford dunblane and cumbria stick in everyones minds there alot of shootings and stabbings that arnt published or even acknowledged. My cousin and his mate were both stabbed a few months back my cousin bieng stabbed in the eye neck and chest and his friend dying from his wounds. Its a scary world we live in and its only goin to get worse. All the best.
Born Hunter 17,751
They're just flat out wrong! But hey it's the Sun they are allowed a shovel full of artistic license. Assault rifles! FFS The semi auto 22s legal in the country are about as close to an assault rifle as a 12 bore is to a howitzer. They'll be telling us that one of their 'undercover investigators' bought second hand tomahawks at the fireworks counter in ASDA next.
undisputed 1,664
The bigest wepon in Britain is the car - kills far more people (every day) by irresponsible and manic people. Drink drivers, using mobile phone, unlicensed, and even kill with intent. Are they going to ban cars? Think not. The difference is in the main licensedGun owners are responsible, and it is usually illegal gun owners that kill. Pretty sure at least two of the killings sprees here were by madmen holding firearm certificates

TUFFTY 1,476
What realy annoys me is people that slag the sun newspaper off but it has helped kids, old people, the armed services and also helped capture peodos. If anything WE should be supporting the sun as they do more good than bad  TUFFTY
