marshman 7,758
A dog doesn't know how deep it's gone ! but I've seen dogs have trouble of multi level earths . Of course a dog should find no matter what but some search more than others and will slip down deeper than others. Funny because I've even had ferrets that will work deep while others tend to work more shallow . 5 Quote Link to post

colliexgreyhound 119
If its his first season i would keep him away from deeper burrows especially if he is a hard dog. He could get badly bitten which could put him off completley Edited January 1, 2013 by colliexgreyhound 1 Quote Link to post
pinguu 169
I had a mate who had a pup go to ground whilst on a walk the earth was well deep we had to get help recovering him by way of a jcb, he was stuck way way down further than you could hand dig on an old quarry site, daft dog was down there hours it was only a pup never worked but followed his dad buster but as my buster came out he carried on lol.
