used a 4x4 me self a couple of times just found it more hassle getting threw gates with stock in if ur bye ur self is all witch led me too thinking about a quad

I used to do alot of lamping off a quad, my mrs would sit behind me with a lurcher held either side of her and I would drive and lamp, letting 1 dog go when we saw something. It was a good way of cov

I use these 2 for lamping with the air rifle when unable to run the dogs , i wouldnt run the dogs when im on a quad or anything prefer to walk the land thumbs:   Good fun these

You will be getting a treadmill next to save walking them  My mate uses a farm quad and the dog sits on the basket

no mate it's just the amount of permission I have too do too keep every one happy and the amount of time too do it in as iam a dairymen doing up too 14 hours a day so not much hours in the day mate and early mornings so if it can help too put more game infront of my dogs and I could not see the point in a tread mill for the dogs if there not out for a walk they would be wanting too shit in the house or kennel

It was a good way of covering alot of ground and keeping up with the action especially when the fields aren't flat.

I shoot of them and run the dogs behind but never lamped the dog off one I'd rather walk even if there ain't much about.

I would rather me self plenty of times iam out saying just another field then another one till u realise its 12 and u got a hours walk home and get 3 hours sleep till u have to go to work think if I dint have such a demanding job then I would be out for 6 hours a night but as much as I love my hobby still got too pay the bills
