lanesra 3,994
Wasn't sure where to put this , so I hope it's ok here ! Was out this morning in a wood chopping logs with a mate , long story short out off a Tree fell a Young Collared Dove . . . We where both shocked , the nest was out off sight too high up so I climbed as far as I could made a Nest off Sorts in a fork using twigs and lined it with foliage and after 10 mins an Adult was flyin in too the young one , its tail feathers where had not developed . Those twitchers in the know is this unusual cause me and my mate both think its Very Strange though not sure , thanks .
Astanley 11,565
I would also consider this unusual at this time of year , but I am far from being an expert , well done for trying to save it , you sound like a very kind man .
