Guest Ditch_Shitter Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 Close sources have revealed that George Curtis, Greyhound Trainer, now fast approaching eighty four years of age, is still at it! Seems one of the Trainers down at the 'Brighton' kennels had a spot of bother and was in a jam. He didn't know what to do as he had a range or two of Dogs who needed their daily handling and he simply couldn't be there for them. Upon hearing of the mans plight, George Curtis ~ 'The Man They Can't Retire' ~ was on his feet and, unquestionably singing happily to himself, as he seems always to be doing, made his way to the kennels where he put in a full days work, sorting out those Dogs! The man's in his bloody Eighties, for chrissake! The very next day, probably figuring no one would notice him, if he sung extra quietly, the bugger was straight back down there and did it all again! They just can't keep this man away from his beloved Greyhounds! Mr Curtis is reported to have told my source, by way of explantion: " I Love It!!! " :clapping: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
