Stuartb85 0
Hi can anybody point me in the direction of a bipod you can mount onto the barrel of an air rifle that will swivel. I have a synthetic break barrel and no where to mount any fixings. Thanks. Quote Link to post
Froudy 40
You don't want to use a bipod on a spring rifle mate, the shots will go all over the place. Atb Froudy 1 Quote Link to post
Ozzyj 2
How do you get on with a bipod on your springer? I cannot shoot on the bipod and then hand held with any accuracy, I have to re-zero between then. Apparently something to do with restricting the recoil of the rifle. I usually use a bean bag as it allows it to recoil a bit more naturally and also when I have scared everything away by being a bit to heavy footed at least I have something comfy to sit on while I wait for the blighters to come back Are you looking for something to fit to the barrel like the clip on ones or something to attach to the forend? Stuartb85 0
Its gas rammed, so thought it might be ok on a bipod. Any advice is much welcomed. Thanks. Quote Link to post

Stuartb85 0
I'm looking for a clip in one as I have a synthetic stock... Plus it'd have to be mounted that far back it'd be awkward to use. I can get a clip on one off the net but I want one that will swivel. Quote Link to post
AR177 588
Gas or Spring it makes no difference, You have a recoiling rifle and you need the rifle to recoil the same way each time to get accuracy, you can rest your hand on a beanbag for support then the rifle ontop of your hand - but the rifle itself should never rest on anything hard or a bipod as it ruins the accuracy. Fitting a Bi-pod will mean all other positions you shoot will not be zero'd and useless for hunting. You would have to take every shot prone to get accuracy But if your heart is set on a Bi-pod there are a number of barrel clamp ones you can get off Ebay, Such as these things http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cc2e6c2a6 doubt you will get a swivel one. secretagentmole 1,701
Stu where in Lincs are you? We are close to the Lincs border in Norfolk and I have one of these bipods to give away, if you want it! Quote Link to post
Stuartb85 0
I'm near Lincoln, thanks for the advice, I've been looking at bean bag rests aswel as bipods. I'll give the bipod a miss. Thanks for the offer anyway mole. Cheers Quote Link to post
