bipods

How do you get on with a bipod on your springer?

I cannot shoot on the bipod and then hand held with any accuracy, I have to re-zero between then. Apparently something to do with restricting the recoil of the rifle.

I usually use a bean bag as it allows it to recoil a bit more naturally and also when I have scared everything away by being a bit to heavy footed at least I have something comfy to sit on while I wait for the blighters to come back :)

Are you looking for something to fit to the barrel like the clip on ones or something to attach to the forend?

Gas or Spring it makes no difference, You have a recoiling rifle and you need the rifle to recoil the same way each time to get accuracy, you can rest your hand on a beanbag for support then the rifle ontop of your hand - but the rifle itself should never rest on anything hard or a bipod as it ruins the accuracy.

Fitting a Bi-pod will mean all other positions you shoot will not be zero'd and useless for hunting. You would have to take every shot prone to get accuracy

But if your heart is set on a Bi-pod there are a number of barrel clamp ones you can get off Ebay,

Such as these things http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3cc2e6c2a6 doubt you will get a swivel one.
